Excellent work in a DH sweep, including the bonus ball for the suspended game. Then we took care of business against the Roys by breaking a close game open late. Solid gloves and bats all night. Danny started off the first game with a tremendous catch in deep RC, Tony was diving all over the place making plays, and Chaz turned a nice DP at 3rd along with a fine stab on a hard grounder down the 3rd base line. Bats were solid too- Jesse hit two bombs, Chris W. backed up Jesse with lots of hits, and John-Mark hit the gap in LC with a ball that scooted under the fence. Nice work all around!!

Here are the points as best I can remember. Please chime in via the comments for any additions, edits, etc. Looks like a Wu should be bringing beverages next week.

      I failed to score a runner from 3rd with no outs. I would love to blame my injured hand, and if I had left a hobbled Charlie at 3rd I probably would. But given that I failed to score Todd–which I should be able to do with 1 hand tied behind my back–I think it is still worth a point. . .

      Oh, and I think I could just as easily get John’s point on the line drive, as I couldn’t get out of the way and cost us an out via obstruction. . .

      Thanks for the response. Reluctantly we can assess the failing to score the runner point but the other one I think I’ll have to keep.

      Not sure if you meant to reward me, but that +1 point a few weeks back for breaking the shortstop’s hand is keeping me from buying. I’m happy to give that one back. Also, should a complete game shutout be -1 for the pitcher?

      Jesse, the scoring is so messed up with you that I may not have done it right. For now, we’ll leave it as it is as you’ll surely hit more HRs and then can buy. We’ll try to get one of the Wus to provide this week.
